Estimation of Reliability through the Wiener Degradation Process Based on the Genetic Algorithm to Estimating Parameters

In this paper, the researcher suggested using Genetic algorithm method to estimate parameters of Wiener degradation process, where it is based on process in order reliability high-efficiency products, due difficulty estimating them traditional techniques that depend only failure times products. Monte Carlo simulation has been applied for purpose proving efficiency proposed parameters; was compared with maximum likelihood estimation. The results were best AMSE comparison criterion, then estimated by an inverse Gaussian distribution according characteristics process. It also real data taken from experiment intended determine light intensity lamps under specific experimental conditions
